BRAMPTON, April 28, 2023 - DriverDX attended the 4th annual National Recruiting and Retention Symposium celebrating recruiters and HR professionals in the transportation industry on April 27th, 2023. The event was hosted by TransRep, a leading transportation industry education and consulting company run by industry veteran Kim Richardson.

The symposium was a platform for attendees to network and share insights on the latest recruitment and retention strategies. The event had a packed agenda, including keynote speeches from Dr. Karyn Gordon, a leadership and relationship expert, and Greg Ford, CEO and Co-Founder of TalentClick Inc., a global firm specializing in predictive analytics arising from employee behavioral assessments.

TEDx thought leader Dr. Karyn Gordon drew on her extensive research into leadership, relationships, and emotional intelligence to help audiences foster the skills needed to lead in the 21st century. Greg Ford shared his expertise on using predictive analytics to make better hiring decisions, optimize talent management, and drive business results using real-life stories from the driver seat.

The symposium also recognized two exceptional professionals in the transportation industry. Geoff Topping, the Chief People Officer at Challenger Motor Freight, won the "Dedicated to the Industry Award" for his outstanding contribution to developing and promoting employee engagement, safety, and culture. Jessica Mata, Recruiting & Retention Manager at Wellington Motor Freight, won the "National Recruiter of the Year Award" for her exceptional performance in attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent in the transportation industry.

DriverDX attended the symposium to strengthen ties within the industry and learn about the latest trends and best practices in recruitment and retention. Though not an exhibitor or sponsor, DriverDX was keen to participate and connect with more transportation recruiters and HR professionals. The event provided an excellent opportunity for DriverDX to engage with industry leaders, gain insights, and explore collaboration opportunities.
